Tom Sandoval Drops Lawyer for Rachel Leviss Court Battle

The tail end of Vanderpump Rules Season 10 was messy AF. This season was winding down nicely, likely bringing us to the end of this series as we all knew it. But then, Ariana Madix learned that her then-man, Tom Sandoval, was cheating on her with Rachel Leviss. The cameras went back up to capture the fallout, and just like that, another season of this chaotic series got greenlit on Bravo.

Ariana discovered this deceitful secret after Tom dropped his cell phone during one of his cover band’s concerts. Ariana grabbed his phone for safekeeping. But then, she saw an intimate video saved amongst his files, alerting her to his affair with Rachel.

This video was (thankfully) never made public. Yet, the implications that followed saw Rachel and Tom on the outs with their audience and costars alike. Several beats later, Rachel sued Tom and Ariana for revenge porn, intentional infliction of emotional distress, eavesdropping, and invasion of privacy.

This lawsuit is still raging on, but an update has just arrived. Tom has just dropped his lawyer. And guess who his new lawyer is? IT’S HIMSELF BECAUSE WTF.

Tom Sandoval will now be representing himself in Rachel Leviss’ lawsuit

The last time we saw Tom on VPR, he was fighting for his life at the reunion for Season 11 of Pump Rules. He desperately desired to have a filmed conversation with Ariana. But a tearful Ariana explained that all she wanted was to be left alone.

Following this sit-down, Tom found himself lawyering up, hiring Matt Geragos to help him defend himself against Rachel’s claims. However, Tom fired Matt after Matt filed a countersuit against Ariana before fully informing Tom of what this additional lawsuit might do to his ex. Thankfully, this resulted in a dropped lawsuit between Tom and Ariana.

Tom then hired Varand Gourjian, who worked on his case for months. But, according to court documents obtained by In Touch, this relationship has also expired.

In his notice to the court, Tom explicitly stated that he would now be representing himself in this lawsuit. He also notified Raquel and Ariana’s legal team of his decision.
