TOWIE star Megan McKenna has been left in a state of shock by her beloved nan’s death.
The reality TV personality, 32, told fans ‘it doesn’t feel real’ when announcing the tragic news today in an Instagram post.
Megan - who lives in Germany with her footballer fiance Oliver Burke - posted a tear-jerking montage of her nan and said she’s grateful her son Landon, who is three months old, got the chance to meet her.
The doting mum poignantly penned: “You’re now my guardian angel nan. I will forever love you and miss you so much. You wasn’t only just my nan, you was a best friend and I will miss our FaceTime and coffee dates and Sunday roast dinners with you every day. It doesn’t feel real that you’re not with us anymore.”
Megan went on: “I’m glad you’re at peace now. You will always be remembered as a beautiful lady that always had the best wardrobe about. I’m so glad Landon got to meet his nanny Jean.”
The sad news comes after Megan bravely revealed she "collapsed" on her bed "with exhaustion" after spending her first Christmas as the parent of a newborn baby last month.
Megan and her fiancé Oliver, 27, welcomed their son Landon in October. The trio spent time on Christmas Day with some of her family, like Megan's brother Harry McKenna and his daughter Maddison, one.
Megan wrote about the experience on Instagram, admitting she had found it exhausting. She told her followers this week: "Swipe for some Christmas mayhem with the fam! I love you all so much. What a special day. Christmas is so much better now with babies but yes I collapsed on the bed last night with exhaustion." She then added: "I wouldn't have it any other way."
Megan, Oliver and Landon returned to the UK just days prior to the Christmas gathering for the special occasion, after the couple moved to Germany a few months ago. She shared: "Landon was a dream on the flight! So calm and amazing. So proud of him."
They spent their first Christmas Eve as a family following their arrival to London. Megan wrote: "Our first Christmas Eve as a family (now about to spent our evening wrapping presents!). Hope you're all having the best Christmas Eve, sending lots of love [...] We appreciate all your love."
