The Traitors fans are convinced Frankie is related to another player.
Fans believe that the beloved Faithful will stand up and reveal that she is Freddie's mother after putting together a series of "clues" that many believe hint toward their "relationship". If true, his would also be a series first as viewers have never been kept in the dark about two players' connection for so long.
In last night's episode [23 January], Freddie was voted out of the castle and Frankie was visibly upset, despite voting for him. During her speech, she explained the reason why she voted for Freddie which prompted a heart-warming interaction.
Freddie blew a kiss toward her and whispered that he "loves her," before he stood up to reveal he was a Traitor. However, before he left Freddie cast his own vote toward Charlotte, a fellow Traitor who admitted to recruiting him solely to throw him under the bus.
Charlotte used him as a scapegoat so as one final act of defiance, Freddie dropped a huge hint to the other players without revealing her true identity. Some BBC viewers are convinced that Freddie did this not only to get back at Charlotte, but also to indicate to his "mother" Frankie who the final Traitor is so that the Faithfuls can take home the cash prize.
Fans flocked to social media to share their theories on the matter, with one person taking to X/Twitter to write: "Justice for Freddie! Well done in letting your mum know Charlotte was a Traitor.”
Another added: "So we all know Frankie’s Freddie’s mum. So picking Charlotte was the perfect hidden revenge. I NEED TO WATCH THE FINAL EPISODE NOW.”
Someone else picked up on her emotional reaction to Freddie's banishment: "Frankie having a mum breakdown, please, that: 'Oh Freddie,' she’s literally his mother."
The pair have also been very close throughout the series, with the pair often referencing their mother-son relationship. At one point in the penultimate episode, Frankie told the camera: "I'm his mum in here."
During one previous scene, a visibly distraught Freddie hugged Frankie in a warm embrace as she reassured him: "It's just a game." Elsewhere in the series, Frankie has compared Freddie to being a "similar age to her sons".
