Travis Hunter, a superstar two-way player for the Colorado Buffaloes football team, has received nothing but positive press over the last few years. That changed these last few weeks due to his fiancée, Leanna Lenee, especially after how she behaved at his Heisman trophy ceremony.

The wide receiver and cornerback earned the prestigious award over the weekend and his family and partner were all in attendance. Per video and reports, Lenee did not share the same enthusiasm as his family did when he was announced as the winner. Deion Sanders, head coach for the Buffaloes, allegedly had to tell her to stand up and congratulate him with everyone else.

“Gold Digging at its finest,” one fan wrote. “Why you have to be told or helped by someone for you to get up for your man’s achievement?” Another fan predicted the demise of their relationship: “She there for that money but I feel sorry for Travis bc once she gets pregnant and have that baby shes more likely to leave him and collect that child support money *money bag emoji* just watch might as well bookmark this.”

Another video surfaced online where Travis Hunter was taking pictures with fans and Leanna Lenee was seemingly not too happy about it. Allegedly, she asked him “Am I just supposed to sit here all day?” while fans continued to come up to him for photos. Hunter recently jumped on social media and revealed her reaction to all of the vitriol.

“You ain’t never have no girl, so why y’all talking about me? Find someone else to talk about,” he exclaimed in the video. He explained how they had been together for five years and Lenee was always loyal to him, thus, the hate that she had received recently forced her to cry and turn to alcohol. “Clickbait pages, y’all better stop,” he asserted. “I’m telling y’all. Something bad gon’ happen to y’all [if] y’all keep doing that.”

Hunter also revealed at the Heisman trophy ceremony that Lenee is the reason he started listening to Lil Wayne. “My fiancée love you,” he stated. “I didn’t know none of your songs until she let me know because I don’t listen to music. She let me know. She told me, like, ‘You gotta listen to this. If you don’t listen to music, listen to Wayne.’ And from that day on, that’s all I listened to. Pregame music, those are the songs I listen to. When I get in that TRX and blast that music, I’m listening to Wayne.” This was especially salient, as Weezy has been one of Colorado’s biggest supporters ever since Sanders began coaching there.
