Travis Scott officially has the No. 1 song in the country.
La Flame’s “4x4” made its debut at the top of the Hot 100 chart thanks to 16.2 million streams, 2.9 million radio airplay impressions, and a combined 167,000 sales in digital and physical copies, per Billboard.
The track becomes his fifth chart-topping single following “Franchise,""The Scotts,""Highest in the Room,” and “Sicko Mode,” although the latter started at No. 4.
“4x4,” which was officially released on Jan. 24, was premiered four days earlier during the College Football Playoff National Championship halftime show at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
All of the net proceeds from "4x4"'s CD single sales, benefitted Direct Relief’s California Wildfire Response Fund and the LAFD.
Scott dropped the new Field Jaxx shoe alongside the single, and merch, which drove traffic to his website TravisScott.com for charitable purchases.
Trailing behind on the Hot 100 chart is Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile,” which fell to No. 2 after having stayed put at the top spot for four weeks. “APT,” a collaboration between Blackpink’s Rosé and Mars, remained at No. 3.
Other notable tracks included Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther” at No. 4, Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” rising to No. 6, with Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny, Gracie Abrams, and Morgan Wallen rounding out the top 10.
