A royal expert claims one specific reason caused Meghan Markle and Victoria Beckham to fall out.
The Duchess of Sussex and the famous designer had a close bond at the start of Meghan's relationship with Prince Harry, with the Beckhams attending their royal wedding in 2018.
However, their relationship has since deteriorated, with reports suggesting the two women are no longer on speaking terms, reports the Express.
A royal expert has now suggested that "jealousy" is the reason behind the feud.
Kinsey Schofield, a royal commentator who has previously criticised the Beckhams, claimed that Meghan and Victoria's falling out "boils down to jealousy".
She said to Fox News: "Ultimately, I believe it was envy that caused the fallout.
"We certainly have examples of Meghan accusing Victoria of leaking stories to the press when it was actually a salon receptionist with a pair of loose lips, but I think it all boils down to jealousy today."
Author Tom Bower claimed in his book House of Beckham that Meghan became enraged after The Sun published an article about her “growing friendship” with Victoria.
Prince Harry and Meghan reportedly initially accused Victoria for the leaks. Harry allegedly made a tense call to David who, after discussing it with his wife, angrily denied the allegations.
Kinsey further commented on the feud between the two women: "Victoria Beckham is the antithesis of Meghan Markle.
"[She] is creative, forward-thinking, hard-working, she executes, she hustles in silence. Victoria pursues advice from people she considers smarter than she is, and she implements it.
"Victoria and her husband are wealthy, and their star continues to rise while Harry and Meghan’s is falling."

The royal commentator noted that several of Meghan's announced projects this year "haven’t come to fruition" and emphasised that, no matter what they do, the Sussexes will always face criticism.
She said: "When Meghan does manage to create something… people are critical because they have lost faith in the Harry and Meghan brand due to their negativity and dishonesty."
