Tyson Fury recently revealed he hasn't spoken to his wife Paris Fury in three months.
But according to one expert, this is actually a sign of "strength" in their relationship and offers a "lesson for modern relationships". Tyson recently revealed that he hasn’t spoken to his wife, Paris, during his intense training for the rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
Relationship expert Anne-Sofie Koktved, from Datingxperten.de, praised Tyson and Paris' relationship dynamic, emphasizing how giving space can reflect a strong partnership.
Anne said: "Tyson Fury’s decision to distance himself from Paris isn’t about conflict but about maintaining the level of focus required to perform at his peak. Preparing for such a high-stakes fight demands mental discipline, and even the slightest distraction, including day-to-day parenting concerns, could throw him off balance.
"What this really shows is the strength of their partnership. Paris understands and respects his process, and that level of trust is the foundation of a strong relationship. It’s a lesson for us all. Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do for your relationship is to give your partner the space they need to grow and succeed individually.”
Anne added: "When partners can step back, allow space, and still feel secure, it shows a relationship built on trust, respect, and mutual understanding. Tyson and Paris Fury’s dynamic is something we could all learn from supporting your partner doesn’t always mean constant communication; sometimes, it’s about knowing when to step back and let them focus.”
The Gypsy King is ready to correct the only flaw in his professional record this Saturday night in Saudi Arabia, as he faces Usyk once again. In their first encounter, Usyk narrowly won by points after a tense battle, and Fury is determined to remove all distractions, including family matters, as he prepares for the rematch.
"I'll end his career, this will be, you'll never hear about Oleksandr Usyk again after this," Fury told Queensberry Promotions. "It's been a long camp, hasn't seen my wife and kids in three months. I haven't spoken to [my wife] at all in three months. Not one word, sacrificed a lot. But it'll all be worth it, 100 per cent."
The heavyweight champion also disclosed a personal tragedy, revealing that Paris suffered a miscarriage just a day before his previous fight with Usyk in May. Upon returning home to Morecambe after the match, he learned of the heartbreaking event.

parisfury1/Instagram)Paris, in an emotional recount to the Mirror, said: "I had to make the decision, do I tell him? And I came to the conclusion that whatever was happening with me, I couldn't change it. But I could change dramatically what was happening in his life," She continued, explaining her decision to keep the news from him until after the fight: "I made up a lie that I had high blood pressure. It was the only thing I could think of that would stop me from flying without having to give him the terrible news."
Fury offered to send a private jet to bring Paris to Saudi Arabia, but later admitted he sensed something was wrong when she declined the offer, though he "didn't want to believe it." Paris, a mother of seven, shared that she "knew something was wrong" during the gender scan when she didn’t see the heartbeat "flickering" on the screen. "The sonographer told me, 'I'm really sorry, Paris, there's no heartbeat.' I jumped up, started crying, and said, 'No, hold on, hold on. No, no, wait,' and became frantic," she recalled.
Paris praised the "exceptional" hospital staff for their support as she delivered her stillborn son without general anesthesia. She broke the heartbreaking news to Tyson upon his return from his loss to Usyk, whom he will face again this Saturday. ""At the time it feels like your world is ripped to pieces," Paris reflected. "But I know everyone can get through it. And what is so traumatic one day, becomes a memory. You know, you had that little piece of life, even if it's such a short time. Mentally I'm at ease with what went on. Physically, I'm OK."
