Tulisa escapes Australia as she leaves I'm A Celebrity hotel a week early

I'm A Celebrity star Tulisa Contostavlos has left Australia a week early after being eliminated from the show.

The N-Dubz singer was the third star to be kicked out of the jungle after Jane Moore and Dean McCullough. She was voted off on Monday and wiped all traces of the show from her social media page. She also left the hotel the stars were staying in and hopped on a flight away from Australia.

It is tradition for the cast to remain at a hotel Down Under to welcome in the others stars as well as the King/Queen of the Jungle. She only stayed at the JW Marriott for a short period of time with her friends and other evicted stars before leaving.

She was notably absent from greeting former co-star Melvin Odoom at the hotel following his exit from camp on Tuesday, with Jane Moore and Dean McCullough inside to greet him. It was reported at the time that it's understood there is "no bad blood" between Tulisa and her campmates.

Jane, 62, who was evicted from camp before Tulisa, wrote in a column for The Sun's paper: "Since leaving, I am spending my days hanging out with the other families and friends at the pool of our luxury hotel, along with the growing band of fellow evictees - Dean, Tulisa, before she left, and Melvin."

Tulisa's absence from the hotel comes amid her speaking out over reports that she had a "huge row" with best friend Michelle McKenna after leaving the jungle. Michelle is said to have run Tulisa's Instagram while she was away.

Speaking to Mail Online, a source previously claimed: "When she got out of the jungle and saw what had been put on there, she was upset and it prompted a huge row. You can't help but think that seeing her friends living it up like that while she was roughing it in the jungle must have really annoyed her."

Tulisa hit back at the suggestion saying she had "no issue" with Michelle or Daniel Johnson, who came to Australia to support her. She said in a social media post: "Absolutely no issue with my sis's posts. I haven't argued with my best mate in over 10 years. We literally don't have arguments, they don't exist in our world.

"Only love. Same with my bro. That's what makes us so strong & my soul fam so special to me. Say what u want about me, but leave my Shelly & Dan alone." She also addressed why she removed posts about I'm A Celebrity from her Instagram page since her departure from camp.

She said she gets 'overwhelmed easily' and started to feel 'a little bit overwhelmed'. Tulisa explained: "And I was like, do you know what? I need to just take a little bit of time for me and just chill. This is all just feeling a bit much at the moment. I'm just going to archive all my stuff to do with the jungle and then, when the time is right and I've had time to process, I'm going to make my own reels of my best bits that I really like. Because remember, I haven't been doing my Instagrams.

"The way it's being posted and all the random stuff is not how I would do my Insta - I would have one or two really good reels relating to the jungle and bringing my time together there. But I just really wanted to clear up the reasons why that I did that and just be honest - it's OK to feel a little bit overwhelmed."
