Kailyn Lowry is getting real with her followers this January. The Teen Mom alum takes to social media to share a health update just days after she was seen crying over her body. Kailyn took to Instagram a week into the New Year and sobbed as she said she “prays” her kids have good relationships with their bodies when they grow up.
Shedding some light on her plastic surgery journey, Kailyn tells people how she’s “struggling this time around” adding how she could feel differently about having surgery because she now has a daughter. The Teen Mom star gets vulnerable as she takes to Instagram this January.
Kailyn Lowry takes to IG after surgery
On January 7, Kailyn Lowry took to IG to say she was doing her makeup for the first time since opting for plastic surgery.
She explains how she wanted to have cosmetic procedures carried out “to be skinny.”
The MTV star was opting for a breast reduction, before deciding to add “lipo 360, and a tummy tuck,”

Kailyn says how she thinks a “little nip and tuck” is OK, but she “prays” her kids don’t “mutilate their bodies” when they get older and have better relationships with their body image than she does.
People are supporting her choices
Taking to Instagram, Kailyn tells people to “think once, think twice about having surgery.”
Her words of warning come after she opted to go under the knife a second time.
She takes to IG again this January to share an update as she recovers from surgery.
While some people aren’t quick to send sympathy Kailyn’s way, lots of her loyal followers want to remind her not to be hard on herself.
One writes: “7 humans came out of you and you look great, don’t be so hard on yourself but if u are happy thats all that matters.”
Another says: “This looks miserable but I’m sure it’ll all be worth it. I’m excited & happy for you!”
