TV star admits he once gave super celebrity worth $500m the cold shoulder

Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper is showing how “wholesome” he really is this October as he admits he’s not up to speed with who all the latest celebrities are. The farmer has risen to fame on the hit Amazon Prime show and has fans all over, but he certainly hasn’t let any of it get to his head.

Appearing as a guest on Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby this Autumn, Kaleb Cooper confesses to once giving David Beckham the cold shoulder. Kaleb is used to spending his days dealing with all things ‘farm management’ including rearing piglets, “firing” Jeremy Clarkson, and driving tractors. It turns out he’s less experienced when it comes to ‘meet and greets’ with famous faces.

Kaleb Cooper’s Beckham admission

Jeremy was famous before Clarkson’s Farm arrived on Amazon Prime, and the show has catapulted him to further stardom.

Letting cameras in on Diddly Squat Farm has seen Jeremy and his co-stars, including Kaleb, and Gerald Cooper, become fan-favorites for viewers.

Although Kaleb is clearly a sought-after TV star fans are keen to get selfies with, he seemingly has no clue.

During Clarkson’s Farm, Kaleb admitted to not knowing who Joe Wicks was. But, he one-ups himself this October as he tells Capital FM how he accidentally gave David Beckham the cold shoulder not knowing who he was.

Kaleb says: “Yeah, but I didn’t really watch much TV, or, you know, go on Instagram too much. So I don’t really understand and know any of these celebrities when they come up to me and go, ‘Oh hey Kaleb, can I have a picture’ and so on. Someone said, for example, David Beckham, you know, like…”

He added how it took him “15 minutes” to recognize David when he visited the farm.

Kaleb explains: “Yeah. He was at the farm, and I just walked past, and he was there. And Jeremy was like, ‘Come and see David.’ And I was like, ‘David who?’ And David Beckham.”

Clarkson’s Farm star’s double offence

Not knowing who Joe Wicks was is one thing, and giving David Beckham the cold shoulder is another.

After giving an update on Jeremy’s health following a recent near-heart attack, he tells another hilarious story.

Kaleb admits to outdoing himself yet again when he also didn’t know who David Cameron was when the former Prime Minister paid a visit.

As Sian Welby tells Kaleb he’s “so wholesome,” he says: “David Cameron was another one in Chipping Norton. I was going to get my Chinese, and he was like, ‘Oh, can I have a picture?’ I was like, ‘You, two minutes. I’ll just go and get my Chinese before it gets cold.’”
