Venita and JT develop an unexpected romance on Southern Charm’s new season. JT expressed how he had a crush on Taylor last year, but she’s moved on, and he’s prepared to do the same.

JT told Venita, “I’m extremely attracted to you. Are we on the same page?” She then smiled and shyly nodded without saying anything in the trailer, while holding a wine glass in her hand.

She was asked back to the Bravo series after being praised for changing Southern Charm forever. Venita and JT do still follow each other on Instagram, hinting they are still on good terms.

Southern Charm star left ex in 2023

Venita was in a relationship with a man called Manny, who she split from in 2023. She thought her was her “forever person” at the time, having spent time with him in Las Vegas the previous year.

He was a musician she spoke about on Southern Charm season 9. They met five years before she went public with their former relationship, after he slid into her Instagram DMs.

Venita and Manny were friends from then on, and dated for a year and a half. She previously told Daily Dish, “He saw me in moments I wouldn’t want to put anywhere else. It makes my heart warm.”

Fans beg Venita ‘not to entertain’

While one told her, “Venita! Don’t You Dare!,” another penned, “Venita, please don’t entertain that man.” A fellow fan said, “I hope Vennita doesn’t entertain that JT guy, he was obsessed with Taylor last year.”

Many reckon the entire storyline is manufactured but it’s perhaps the biggest shock of the new season trailer. “I like JT but not in for a JT and Venita romance. What happened to her boyfriend?” said a fan.

One viewer wrote, “#SOUTHERNCHARM: JT and Venita were not on my 2024 bingo card. it’s giving forced love connection for a storyline,” while another said, “JT and Venita is wilddddddddd.”
