TV star forced to have another surgery after her 'body won't stop growing'

RHOSLC star Meredith Marks, 52, shot to fame four years ago as one of the show’s original Housewives. She’s been at the center of bathtub controversy, as well as fall-outs with co-stars including Lisa Barlow. But, these days it seems Meredith is enjoying sheer happiness as she and Lisa are buddies again, and she’s loving life after a third breast reduction.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City kicked off its fifth season this September. Heather Gay, Lisa, Meredith, Whitney Rose, and co are joined by some newcomers including one Real Housewife who’s dating Donny Osmond’s nephew. The drama is coming through thick and fast in Salt Lake City, but one person who seems to be finding a new level of inner peace this fall is Meredith.

As The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 plays out this fall, Meredith is recovering from her third breast reduction surgery.

The Bravo star says she’s “so happy” and is “feeling great” following the procedure as she catches up with Page Six at the American Ballet Theatre’s 2024 Fall Gala at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Following the surgery, Meredith is excited she can “wear normal clothes” without having to make alterations, and adds how it was a “wonderful experience,” opting for her LA-based doctor, “Dr Rosenberg.”

Now, she says she’s going to be able to have more of an action-packed future on RHOSLC as she’ll be able to partake in activities such as “zip-lining” and “rope courses.”

Meredith battles health condition

Meredith’s third breast reduction surgery comes after years of her battling an “unknown medical condition.”

Speaking on the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast back in September, Meredith explained how she has a condition where her “breast tissue doesn’t stop growing.”

She adds: “It’s wild. I have this weird issue. I’m hoping this is it. I never wanted to be that big… It’s hormonal, I guess…”

When asked if she’ll need another breast reduction surgery if the tissue keeps growing, Meredith said yes, adding: “Unless I want to look matronly… If I have to, I will…”

“Clothes are fitting better now,” she adds, explaining how nothing used to “sit right” because of her chest size.

“I just think it’s hormonal and genetic,” she continues. The Bravo star says how her mother “started growing in her forties and had the same kind of thing.”
