TV star 'had all kinds of questions' when husband died suddenly - 'It's not his fault'

Amy and Tammy Slaton are embarking on many new things in their lives these days. As 1000-Lb Sisters season 6 plays out, fans are getting to see them hit milestones like never before. The siblings are totally transformed since viewers first met them four years ago.

From Tammy Slaton getting approved for skin removal surgery to Amy Slaton being brought to tears over purchasing a pair of heels for the first time, it’s safe to say this season’s episodes are filled with emotional moments. One 1000-Lb Sisters scene also sees the sisters deal with some painful memories as they attempt to contact loved ones from beyond the grave.

Amy and Tammy ‘connect with spirits’ of their loved ones

Using a phone app, that Amy says is “kind of like a radio,” the sisters attempt to connect with loved ones they’ve lost.

Tammy asks her sister: “What do you think about trying to connect?” before they begin using the app.

Amy explains: “When a ghost communicates, it takes all the static and makes it into words that you can understand… but some of its white noise like static…”

She adds how sometimes “names” come through the app.

As the app plays out noises, the sisters are convinced they hear Tammy’s name.

She says: “We have to be careful because I don’t want any evil spirits in my home.”

1000-Lb Sisters star lost her husband

Tammy’s husband, Caleb Willingham, sadly passed away last year at the age of 40.

Speaking on 1000-Lb Sisters, Tammy said she “had all kinds of questions” when her husband died.

“I had all kinds of things I wanted to say… I didn’t hate him, but I was really upset with him for dying on me… now I’m like, I can’t be mad at him, it’s not his fault,” she tells the cameras.

She adds how she “wants to thank him” for the time they spent together before attempting to summon him from another realm.

Amy asks: “Caleb are you there? Who are we talking to?”

The ladies not only want to connect with Caleb, but more loved ones they’ve lost including “Annie,” and “Jacob,” says Tammy.
