Professional boxer Tyson Fury has revealed his wife suffered a late miscarriage just hours before he lost the biggest fight of his life last May.
Fury, 36, a former super heavyweight world champion, was preparing to take on Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia on May 18.
The two previously undefeated boxing champions were battling it out to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world – a fight Fury lost.

Tyson Fury, with wife Paris, celebrate his 2022 WBC World Heavyweight Title Fight win. (Getty)What the world didn't know was that while Fury was preparing for the fight in Saudi Arabia, his wife, Paris, called to say she would not be able to make it.
While she told him she couldn't travel due to high blood pressure, he said he knew straight away that his wife, who was pregnant with their eighth child, had miscarried.
"The one that she was having, she lost on the Friday of the fight," Fury explained at a press conference in the lead-up up to a planned rematch later this year.
"She was six months pregnant. To go through that on your own isn't good.

Fury said when she told him she couldn't come he "knew there was a problem".
"I said to my brother, 'She's lost that baby'. She never told me she had lost the baby, but I knew.
"When I got back I got the inevitable confirmation that it was gone, but she had kept it to herself."

Fury announced Paris was expecting their eight child in an Instagram Story back in March, writing, "Mother of seven and still beautiful. Still strong and still my rock. #8incoming. Lucky for some."

He will take on Usyk in a rematch in Saudi Arabia on December 21.
