UGG might have some of the most instantly recognisable boots in the world, but it seems they’re branching out on their designs to incorporate one of the top-trending boots of the season – the cowboy boot. The brand’s latest collection with unisex clothing brand Gallery Dept features four different styles of footwear, with denim patchwork, leather offcuts, and a pair of UGG-style cowboy boots that are perfect for autumn.
The new collection is inspired by both UGG and Gallery Dept’s love of upcycling, and uses regenerative leather, recycled denim and surplus canvas bags sourced by Gallery Dept to create the unique styles. The four styles are already rapidly selling out, so you’ll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on a pair as there’s no word on if or when they’ll be restocked.

The stand out piece in the collection is, without a doubt, the Gallery Dept Stitched Boot, £350, which takes inspiration from a classic pair of cowboy boots. Coming in UGG’s signature soft brown sheepskin material with a 60% recycled wool lining for warmth, the boots are also super practical for autumn.
They’re made from waterproof leather and waterproof suede sourced from farms practicing regenerative agriculture, and have a Sugarcane EVA outsole that ridged with the UGG branding to stop slipping. The cowboy boots are unisex and come in sizes UK4 to UK13, with several sizes already selling out due to their limited edition popularity.

UGG)Also included in the launch are the UGG Gallery Dept Denim Boot, £495, which are available in sizes UK5 to a UK15 and have a standout patchwork denim look. All of the denim comes from recycled sources from the United States, which means each boot is completely unique and no two pairs will look the same, and they’re still finished with the must-have fluffy wool interior to keep them cosy.
There is also a pair of tall canvas boots for £495, and a pair of the Tasman slip on mule slippers, £390, both of which are made from recycled canvas bags. They come in a dark khaki and beige colourway, with both styles coming in sizes UK5 to UK13, although as with the other two pairs, several sizes have now sold out due to their limited run.
Alternatively if you want a pair of classic autumn/winter boots with a similar cosy sheepskin lining, Dr Martens’ Leonore Faux Fur Lined Burnished Chelsea Boots, £180, have the look of a Chelsea Boots, but feature a faux fur lining to keep your feet warm. If UGG-style slippers are on your current wishlist, Just Sheepskin has a gorgeous cosy range of styles that rival some of UGG’s best-sellers, including shearling platform mules and fur-lined slippers.
