In today's "WTF is happening in Washington!?!" news, workers at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) were reportedly greeted Monday morning by an AI video of Donald Trump kissing Elon Musk's feet on TVs displayed all throughout the building.

A TV in a public space displays "LONG LIVE THE REAL KING," reportedly a hacking incident at HUD

According to HuffPost, the video played on a loop for about five minutes before workers "frantically" rushed to unplug all the TVs. (Note: Press play at your own risk.)

HUD spokesperson Kasey Lovett confirmed in an email with HuffPost that the clip was indeed played at HUD, calling it "another waste of taxpayer dollars and resources." Lovett also assured that "appropriate action will be taken against all involved."

In the video, Trump aggressively caresses Musk...who has two left feet.

A large display screen in a public space shows the text "Long Live the Real King."

Text over the video also reads, "LONG LIVE THE REAL KING," likely referencing back to the fact that Trump referred to himself as a king last week across social media.

"'CONGESTION PRICING IS DEAD...LONG LIVE THE KING!' —President Donald J. Trump."

The video blast at the HUD office comes after Musk was tapped to run the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and began firing thousands of government employees (including plans to cut nearly half of HUD’s staff, per NPR). Last week, federal employees received an email requesting they list five things they accomplished that week or risk losing their jobs.

"Somewhere out there this morning, a 15 year old hacker-shitposter completed his masterpiece and then got on the bus to go to school," one person surmised.
