UnitedHealthcare CEO Murder: Person Of Interest Caught At McDonald's -- Is It Him??

2 weeks ago 3

Maybe the most controversial killer of our times may actually have been caught!

We’re speaking of course of the man who planned and executed the brazen murder of Brian Thompson, the CEO of health insurance giant UnitedHealthcare. The killer waited for him to leave a Manhattan Starbucks then opened fire. He ducked into an alley, hopped on an eBike, rode into Central Park, and disappeared.

Then we learned his bullet casings had the words “deny” “defend” “depose” written on them — and the backpack found by police in the park was full of Monopoly money. The killer quickly started to become something of a folk hero for many outspoken internet users, with his plan to punish an exec whose company’s decisions had doomed a great many sick people to their deaths. It had other CEOs suddenly living in fear of reprisal.

Now… that’s all about to end. If this is the guy, anyway…

Caught??

A person of interest was caught on Monday morning… at McDonald’s of all places. Apparently folks at a Mickey D’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania thought a customer was suspicious and called the authorities. Altoona is about 280 miles from NYC. Mangione arrived on a Greyhound bus — the bus is how the killer was believed to have escaped the city.

Altoona cops detained the young man, who they say had a gun that looked like the one used in the killing of Thompson, along with a silencer — which got him arrested on gun charges. He also had four fake IDs, including one based in New Jersey. They believe it’s the one he used at the hostel where he showed his face — reportedly while flirting with a woman.

????UPDATE: Below are photos of a person of interest wanted for questioning regarding the Midtown Manhattan homicide on Dec. 4.

Who Is This Guy??

The NY Post got the scoop. The person of interest being detained is 26-year-old Luigi Mangione. He’s from Towson, Maryland and is an Ivy League graduate.

Law enforcement sources told the Post Luigi hates the medical insurance machine because of what happened to a sick relative. He had a manifesto on his person decrying the US healthcare system and its insane profits at the cost of patients’ health. It’s unclear who he personally lost, though records show his grandmother died in 2013 and grandfather died in 2o17. He also got a close-up look when he worked at an assisted-living facility in 2014. He was still in high school.

Mangione was reportedly valedictorian of his high school, the $40k per year Gilman School in Baltimore. He says online that he went to the University of Pennsylvania where he studied AI.

Authorities say he was also anti-capitalist and upset about climate change. We mean… that’s hardly unique. However, he seemed to be all over the place when you look at his social media. He’s liked Unabomber Ted Kaczynski quotes, reposts anti-woke, manosphere garbage, follows RFK Jr and Joe Rogan, is against antidepressants, and seems to like Elon Musk. Anti-capitalist and pro-Musk? See what we mean? Doesn’t make much sense.

Arrest Details

Joseph Kenny, the NYPD‘s chief of detectives, confirmed Mangione’s ID at a briefing, telling reporters the call came into police at about 9:15 a.m.

“He was sitting there eating.”

Kenny explained the firearms arrest is because he had what’s believed to be a “ghost gun” — a pistol untraceable because it’s made from unrelated parts often bought online or 3-D printed.

Is this the guy? Police seem to think so. We’ll have to see. If he has a manifesto, we’d have to believe he’d own up to the crime and tell the world what he thinks. Time will tell if he continues to capture the public’s imagination as the mysterious masked killer did… or if his opinions are as inconsistent as his social media footprint seems.
