Luigi Mangione had a message for the “American people” on Tuesday.
As the 26-year-old murder suspect was being led into court by cops on Tuesday afternoon, he could be seen getting out of a police vehicle and seemingly reacting to something off-camera. He turned to face the media while fighting as cops tried to get control of him, shouting:
“It’s completely out of touch! It’s an insult to the intelligence of the American people and their lived experience!”
It’s unclear what he was referring to as he was quickly ushered inside.

He is currently facing numerous charges in New York and Pennsylvania, where he was arrested days after allegedly killing the UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. He reportedly suffered from “chronic back pain” before getting surgery last year, which could be a possible motive. He’s clearly still passionate about his cause…
