Wendy Osefo called out Karen Huger for talking about her behind her back in an unaired scene from The Real Housewives of Potomac and fans want to know why more wasn’t shown of the tense moment between them.
Months after the trailer teased the falling out between Wendy, 40, and Karen, 61, revealing that Karen had slammed Wendy as “self-absorbed” to the other women, the clip has resurfaced on Instagram, reminding viewers that they didn’t get to see what went down when Wendy confronted the Grande Dame.
“After the [season nine] finale where [Stacey Rusch] shared that Karen was talking behind Wendy’s back, the castmates on X quickly pointed out that this certain scene we saw in the trailer for season [nine] [didn’t] make the cut into the actual show. Wonder why,” The Reality Rundown wrote in the caption of an Instagram post that featured the unaired footage.
“I have always held you down, off and on camera. I wouldn’t have expected that from you,” Wendy informed Karen.
In the comments section of the clip, RHOP fans wanted to know what Bravo was thinking when it decided to cut the moment from season nine.
“This is WHAT we were waiting for smh,” one person stated.
“This happens sooooo much on RH shows,” another complained. “I’ve noticed it for years! They think ppl forget but they include stuff in the trailer that never actually plays on the show. It’s weird.”
“Why wasn’t this aired?” asked a third, adding, “I need better from [RHOP] producers and editors for their 10th season.”
“I wanted to see this scene. Why would they do that?” someone else agreed.
Meanwhile, others expressed sadness for Wendy, telling her, “Karen was never your friend.”
“Karen’s ALWAYS been that ‘mean disingenuous character’ since day one…. above everyone else…. never fell for it… and not surprised,” one person stated.
The Real Housewives of Potomac season nine reunion begins airing Sunday, February 16, at 8/7c on Bravo.
