Villain TV star breaks silence on show reboot and gets super emotional

1 month ago 3

It’s likely been one heck of a month for Tom Sandoval. The Bravo star is dealing with more than one ‘end of an era’ as 2024 closes out. Tom may be enjoying relationship bliss with his new missus, but when it comes to his work life, it looks like he’s getting super emotional.

Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval has been at the center of the reality TV show for decades. Not only was he a part of Scandoval along with Racquel Leviss and Ariana Madix, but he also co-founded restaurants and bars with his work pal, Tom Schwartz, making Tom a big name in the Pump Rules world. Now Tom is responding to the news of the cast getting a total overhaul – and he’s not happy.

Tom Sandoval’s ’emotional’ response

He kept people waiting a little while, but Sandoval has finally spoken out following the bombshell that Pump Rules is no longer continuing as we knew it.

Poor Tom and Tom announced the closure of their LA restaurant, Schwartz and Sandy’s this November.

And, in the same month, the show is getting a total revamp.

Responding to the news he’ll no longer be a Pump Rules cast member, Tom writes on Instagram:

“Where do I begin… I’m overwhelmed with so many emotions right now… The unbelievable series of events that brought this group together still blows my mind to this day. From a random meeting with Jax while modeling in Miami, to responding to a Craigslist ad for another Tom looking for a roommate. Who would’ve thought that a stop along the way while chasing our dreams would turn into the cultural phenomenon that is Vanderpump Rules…”

The former star of the show adds: “We were unaware as to the effect this show would have on our lives. The foundation of Vanderpump Rules was built on pure honest raw emotions… triumphs, struggles, and love that happen between a group of real friends and our relationships. As soon as we started filming shit got real and never turned back. It’s been a roller coaster ride and you’ve been with us though every step of the way. To NBC/Universal, Bravo, Evolution, Lisa, Ken, show runners, field producers & members of the crew who busted their asses with us in the trenches, my fellow cast mates & friends…”

Tom is ‘filled with gratitude’

Although Tom writes of being “overwhelmed,” he doesn’t forget to thank Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, as well as his all-important fans.

“…Most importantly, to each and every fan, THANK YOU ALL for believing us and being part of this 12 year journey. It’s hard to put into words what I’m feeling right now. As in life, so much has happened over the years…”

He adds how he’s thankful for his experiences:

“Some of my past decisions led to incredibly challenging times, from which I’ve learned valuable lessons and experienced personal growth. Despite the difficulties, I’m filled with gratitude for the learning experience and forever grateful for all of the memories.”
