Vivo is expanding its Y-Series portfolio in India with the launch of Vivo Y29. The newly arrived phone has a sleeker design with a circular camera with Dynamic light enhancing the camera module. The phone has a 120Hz LCD display which comes with TÜV Rheinland certification. A MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor powers it. Additionally, the handset packs a 5000mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge support.

Vivo Y29 has launched in India in four different configurations. The price of the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage model is set at Rs 13,999 whereas the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant will cost Rs 15,499. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage variants will be available at Rs 16,999 and Rs 18,999.
The device will come in three colour options- Glacier Blue, Titanium Gold, and Diamond Black. Customers who buy the smartphone can get up to Rs 1500 in cashback or opt for easy EMI option through SBI Card, IDFC First Bank, Yes Bank, and Bank of Baroda, among other partners, for INR 1399 per month, which includes V-Shield device protection.

Vivo Y29 specifications
The Vivo Y29 operates on FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box. Under the hood there is MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It features a 6.68-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution. The panel has 120Hz refresh rate support. It also boasts 1000 nits of brightness and TÜV Rheinland certification.
The smartphone features dual stereo speakers with a 300% volume boost. The phone comes with Military Grade Resistance, and an SGS certification. Additionally it is IP64-rated dust and water resistant.

For the photos and videos, 50MP rear camera with AI Night Mode. For selfies it includes an 8 MP front facing camera. The rear camera also has support for AI features like AI Photo Enhance and AI Erase.
