"Welcome back to another episode of tell me you live in Australia without telling me you live in Australia," he said in the video.

He then panned his camera to the shoe rack outside his Queensland home.

Draped along the length of the rack was a snake.

"Have a look at the shoe rack," Irwin continued.

He then got up close and personal with the snake which had spread its body across the shoe rack.

"What's the plan here mate, what are you doing?" Irwin asked the snake.

The snake hissed as Irwin moved in closer to film it.

Then, as Irwin continued to film the snake, it curled up inside one of Irwin's boots.

"I don't know what the plan is there buddy, you're not going to fit in there," Irwin said as he watched the snake make a home in his boot.

"What are you doing? Get out of my shoe," he added.

Scratching his head, Irwin explained that he needed to "fish this guy out of [his] shoe".

"I don't know how I'm going to do this."

He then proceeded to pick up the shoe and began pulling the snake out of the shoe.

"Get out of the shoe, come on," Irwin said as he attempted to coax the snake out.

He reached his hand straight into the shoe and pulled at the snake.

As he pulled, the snake seemed never-ending before he - eventually managed to get the snake out of the boot.

He then held the snake in his hand and brought it close to his face as he spoke to the snake again.

"What are you doing in the shoe rack?" he joked.

"You don't even have any feet."

The encounter would be spine-tingling for many but it's nothing new for Irwin, who has spent his life handling wildlife.

Earlier this year, Irwin shared a similar video where he discovered a massive spider under a set of his dumbbells.

"Hi, this is Robert, and I'm going to show why you should always check under your weights before that next set," he said in the video.

He proceeded to move one of his weights to reveal a massive huntsman spider hiding underneath.

After moving the weight, the spider began to crawl around on the floor as Irwin continued filming.

Completely unfazed, Irwin then filmed himself just centimetres away from the arachnid joking along as he encouraged its gym-going.

"Good form buddy, keep it up," he told the spider.

He concluded the video with a close-up of the furry huntsman – the stuff of an arachnophobe's nightmares.

"He's just trying to be a good gym bro," he wrote in the video's caption.

"Always leg day for this guy," he quipped.
