The Traitors Season 3 Takes Place in the Scottish Highlands
According to Peacock, Season 2 “became the #1 unscripted series in the U.S. across all streaming platforms and a true cultural phenomenon.”
The network previously released a trailer. “Murder and treachery, secrets and lies,” the narrator says.
Peacock describes The Traitors as “the ultimate game of deception,” in which “contestants work together on thrilling missions in the Scottish Highlands to win a prize of up to $250,000.”
According to NBC, the show is “set in a remote castle deep in the Scottish Highlands,” where “21 larger-than-life personalities” come together “to compete in a series of missions with the objective of earning a cash prize of up to $250,000.”
But there is a “catch,” NBC reports: The catch? “Hidden amongst the Faithful contestants are the Traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the Faithful and claim the prize for themselves.”
“Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors ‘murder’ contestants one by one, but if the Faithful can banish all the Traitors before the end of the game, they’ll split the incredible prize,” according to NBC.
