Usher's second child, Naviyd Ely Raymond, was the highlight of the R&B singer's most recent concert.
On Wednesday (Dec. 10), Naviyd celebrated his 16th birthday onstage with Usher during an Atlanta date of the Past Present Future Tour. As the clip below shows, the teenager wore shades while excitedly hitting a birthday dance among Usher and his background dancers. By the show's end, Naviyd went to the State Farm Arena backstage garage, where he was joined by his father and mother, Tameka Raymond, and surprised with a black Land Rover.
The Coming Home vocalist first gave his son a miniature car before handing off the keys to the luxury SUV.
"I got something for you," Usher told his son in the clip. "That's just a starter kit for you right there. But I just wonder if you can handle that one, then maybe there might be something out there."
Nayvid rode the tiny car to his new car, which he immediately hopped into before pulling off, to the concern of his mother.
Usher shares an older son with Tameka, Usher "Cinco" Raymond V, 17, while he also has a four-year-old daughter, Sovereign Bo, and youngest son, Sire Castrello, three, with his wife, Jennifer Raymond, née Goicoechea.
Nayvid has put his father onto contemporary pop, introducing him to PinkPantheress after a random DM exchange. This led to a FaceTime chat between the British artist and Usher before Nayvid got to attend her concert in April.
In an Entertainment Tonight interview earlier this year, around the two-minute mark below, Usher also revealed that the idea behind UshBucks came from Naviyd. "A lot of the creative ideas, they come from my kids," he explained.
