December is well underway, and we're turning our attention to Christmas here at the Mirror. This week's Weekend Wishlist features a variety of products perfect for the festive period, including items to treat yourself and potential gifts for loved ones.
This time of year is all about glitzy party outfits, cosy knitwear, Christmas pyjamas, and hydrating skincare. Our round-up features items we're desperate to get our hands on from M&S, Boux Avenue, and FatFace.
If it's a sparkly dress you're after, Phoebe recently tried on what she believes to be the ultimate Christmas frock in New Look. Is your skin struggling due to the cold winter weather? Ella & Jo's The Miracle Mask may be the answer to your problems.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday may be over, but some retailers are still offering some fabulous discounts. This includes 30% off an adorable festive pyjama onesie from Boux Avenue, which Phoebe has her eye on for the Christmas period. Check out all of our top picks below.
Boux Avenue pyjama onesie - £29.40

Boux Avenue)Everyone should have special Christmas pyjamas to keep them feeling snug over the festive period. As soon as I saw this adorable Boux Avenue onesie from the Tomlinson Twins' new edit, I immediately added it to my wishlist.
Originally priced at £42, the teddy fairisle ribbed onesie is currently 30% off, bringing the cost down to £29.40. It's available in sizes six to 18 and is a gorgeous pale pink shade with a red pattern featuring cute teddy bears, love hearts, and snowflakes.
The pyjama onesie has button fastenings and is made from soft ribbed fabric — perfect for lounging while watching Christmas TV and wearing to bed on chilly nights. As well as being a great gift for yourself, it would also make a cosy Christmas present for a friend or loved one.
Phlur's Vanilla Skin Body Mist - £24
Image:
Space NK)A new fragrance is always such a treat, is it not? But it feels like, beyond your classic Chanel and Marc Jacobs, there are so many cool perfume houses to check out — and quite frankly, it takes a lot of work to keep track.
Contemporary fragrance brand Phlur is the latest on my radar, with its unique scents with fun and quirky names such as Mood Ring, Father Figure and Somebody Wood. Seriously, the whole brand just screams cool girl.
One of the brand's latest offerings, Vanilla Skin, is a deliciously sweet yet seductive scent that blends creamy vanilla with sandalwood, making it an instant favourite for those who appreciate a sugary aroma with a twist. I've been donning it for the last couple of weeks and had nothing but compliments.
Alternatively, Sol de Janeiro is another excellent pick for perfume mists, boasting a range of sultry, Brazilian-inspired aromas to swoon over.
New Look sequin dress - £35
Image:
Phoebe Barton)On a recent trip to my local New Look store, I found the perfect Christmas party dress. I tried on the Blue Vanilla Dark Green Puff Sleeve Sequin Mini Dress and instantly fell in love.
Priced at £35, the glitzy garment is currently available online in sizes eight to 14 and is covered in tiny sequins, making the dress an absolute showstopper. I was also drawn to the cute puff sleeves and the high neckline.
The dress is mini-length and has a button loop fastening at the back of the neck. Some sequin garments can be uncomfortable to wear, but this wasn't the case with New Look's dress—it's super comfy and lightweight.
Ella & Jo face mask - £25.50
Image:
Amazon)I am obsessed with Ella & Jo and have been using several of their products as part of my daily skincare routine since I reviewed the brand for the Mirror a couple of months ago. I already own The Glow Up Enzyme Mask, which I'm a big fan of, so I'm keen to try The Miracle Mask.
The product usually retails for £34, but for a limited time, Amazon is offering it for £25.50. The Miracle Mask is an intense hydrating mask that delivers 'exceptional skin plumping, hydration, and firming'.
It's designed to level up any skincare routine, so it's a great Christmas present choice for the skincare lover in your life. It's packed with hydrating, protecting, and nourishing ingredients to 'give your skin the miracle treatment' — it sounds like the perfect mask to give your face some TLC over the festive period.
Fat Face Borg Green Check Half Zip Fleece - £55
Image:
Fat Face/Lauren Codling)If you're looking to wrap up in style this season, Fat Face's £55 green check borg fleece might be the solution. I nabbed it in time for the colder weather and I'm basically never not wearing it — it's thick, plush and perfect for chillier days, whether you're out running errands or snuggling up inside.
I've found it easy enough to style, as well. I like pairing it with high-waisted jeans and classic white trainers for a laid-back everyday look, or layering it over a chunky turtleneck or oversized coat. It's great for throwing over a pair of joggers or thermal leggings for when you just need to nip to the corner shop, too.
My only note is that it's pretty expensive compared to other high-street brands (Next has a wealth of fleeces around the £30 mark, for example), but FatFace is typically excellent quality, so with proper care, it should last you for years.
MAC So Iconic Kit - £48 (was £60)
Image:
Look Fantastic)Every beauty fan likely has a MAC product somewhere in their makeup bag; from the iconic Ruby Woo lipstick to the Studio Fix Foundation, it's been a beloved brand for decades. So, I have great news for MAC fans — or those who are beginners. The MAC So Iconic Kit, filled with six makeup essentials, is valued at a remarkable £133, but it is currently on sale for £48 at Look Fantastic, reduced from £60.
This means you're getting each item for £8 — a rare chance to replenish your high-quality cosmetics or gift a loved one. The set includes iconic staples such as the MACstack Mascara, renowned for its buildable volume; the refreshing and versatile Fix+ Original Setting Spray; and the playful, high-shine Squirt Plumping Gloss.
It also features an Eye Kohl Pencil in Costa Riche — a creamy, rich brown — and a Lustreglass lipstick, a pink-nude shade perfect for day and night wear. As a bonus, the kit comes with a 5ml sample of the Hyper Real Serumizer, designed to soften and smooth the skin's appearance.
Marks & Spencer embellished jumper - £35
Image:
M&S)I admit I'm a little bit addicted to buying jumpers; my wardrobe is full of cosy knitwear. The M&S Embellished Crew Neck Jumper is unlike any I own and is perfect for wearing over the festive period.
The grey jumper is available in sizes extra small to extra large and features a row of gorgeous faux pearls and jewels along its round neckline. It has a hook-and-eye fastening for easy wear and is finished with a stylish ribbed trim.
The knitwear would look stunning paired with jeans and boots for a casual daytime look, or tailored trousers or a glitzy skirt with sparkly heels for an evening occasion. It's a stylish yet comfortable addition to any festive wardrobe.
LUSH Super Milk Conditioning Hair Primer - £26
Image:
Lush)I've recently seen Lush's Super Milk Hair Primer doing the rounds on social media for leaving users' hair smelling "delicious" and looking "soft and shiny." I was intrigued enough by this apparent miracle worker to swap my usual Christmas purchase of Snow Fairy shower gel for it — but would I regret it?
I've always been wary of leave-in conditioners because I fear they'll make my oily-prone hair, well, more oily. But this dreamy milk—and almond-infused formula has proven me wrong; after a month of consistent use, my locks feel better, all soft, glossy, and nourished.
But it's the smell that is the real clincher. I've spotted some negative reviews claiming Super Milk smells like lemon disinfectant, but I can't disagree more. It has a sweet, nutty aroma reminiscent of holidays — ideal when the weather is so meh — and lasts for days. Granted, it's fainter after 24 hours, but it is still there, which is pretty impressive when I live deep within pollution-filled London.
It's meant to be fantastic for curls, too — and if it works wonders on my straight locks, I'd recommend it to any wavy-haired people out there.
