Working hard! Sister Wives star Janelle Brown’s eldest daughter, Maddie Brush (née Brown), has appeared on the long-running reality series since its premiere on TLC in 2010, but how else does she make money?

What Does Sister Wives’ Maddie Brown Do for a Living?

Maddie is a reality TV personality, but that’s not all she does to rake in the cash. She worked as a Plexus ambassador, just like her mom. Plexus offers a “range of products focused on every aspect of your health and happiness,” according to their website.

The TLC star tried her hand at podcasting, launching “The Authentic Society” in November 2024 with friend and cohost, Jayme Byrd Langley. When announcing the project the month prior, the duo said they planned to “dive into the raw, real sides of womanhood, friendships, marriage, faith and the relationships that shape us.” During the first six episodes, Maddie often shared intimate details about her family’s life.

Maddie explained to fans in a January 6, 2025, Instagram post that she was stepping away from the podcast, although Jayme would continue with the venture.

“I’ve truly enjoyed the experience, learned so much, and am deeply grateful for the support from all of you. However, it’s clear this project no longer aligns with my goals or the vision I have for my future and my family,” she wrote.

Maddie went on to say that while she wasn’t “closing the door on podcasting forever,” she was focused on the birth of her fourth child and building her new business, Taeda Farms, with mom Janelle. “All of these things are where my heart currently is and what I feel needs my focus right now,” she told fans.

Janelle intends on moving to North Carolina to join Maddie and her husband, Caleb Brush, to embark on Taeda Farms. She purchased 159 acres of land near Chocowinity, North Carolina, in 2024, where she and Maddie plan to build a flower farm and nature-based community.

Their mission statement on the Tadea Farms website said the mother-daughter duo plans on “transforming our land into a sanctuary where every bloom and every leaf tells a story. More than just a venue, Taeda Farms will be a haven for community, where people gather to reconnect with nature and each other.”

What Is Maddie Brown’s Net Worth?

According to multiple outlets, Maddie’s net worth is estimated to be around $200,000 to $400,000 as of January 2025.

She explained how Sister Wives saved her family financially during the December 9, 2025, episode of “The Authentic Society” podcast.

“Before the show, we were very poor,” Maddie revealed. “I think my dad made decent money, but you have, like, 15 kids. Like, a lot of kids.”

“I think that we inherit so much of our thought process around money from our parents. My dad always chose the get-rich-quick scheme, almost always. It was such a foreign thought to Caleb. And I remember explaining some ideas to him, and he was like, ‘No, no,’” Maddie continued about her views on finances.

The reality star shared how she and her husband were working towards “financial stability” thanks to the way he was brought up.

“We did a lot of work on that together, because [the] poverty mindset is such an interesting thing, especially when it comes to money,” she said. “Because when we got our tax returns when we were younger, my parents immediately spent it on something. And Caleb’s family were both educated, and they did not. They saved it. They saved every penny that they could.”

“I remember saying to Caleb about seven years ago, ‘You know what’s weird? It’s realizing that there is no [getting] rich quick,’” Maddie recalled. “And I knew it, but I think actually saying it out loud, it was such a weird concept.”

I’m so amazed every day that I get to do life with you! Thank you for the love you give! Thank you for being such an amazing dad and husband! We are beyond blessed!”

As far as her husband’s profession, Maddie proudly shared what he did for a living in a November 2024, Instagram Q&A.

When Did Janelle and Kody Split?

In Touch exclusively broke the news in December 2022 that Janelle and Kody Brown – Maddie’s parents – split after nearly 30 years of spiritual marriage. “Janelle is a strong independent woman and realized she can do it on her own,” an insider told In Touch, adding that the mom of six “outgrew him.”

Kody later confirmed their breakup in an episode of Sister Wives that aired that same month.

During part three of the Sister Wives: One on One tell-all that aired in January 2023, Janelle opened up about life post-Kody, admitting that she was “happy” despite their relationship not working out.

“I’m not waiting for him. I’ve kind of mourned that that part of our life is gone,” she explained during a private interview, noting that she and Kody had been separated for “months” at that point. “I wasn’t heartbroken. It wasn’t heartbreaking for me like it was for Christine [Brown]. I just mourned that that life was gone. We had a great run.”
