Hugh Jackman's estranged wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, is stepping into a new chapter of her life –– and her first public outing is with her and Jackman's daughter, Ava.
Just days after the Wolverine star pretty much confirmed his romance with Sutton Foster, Furness, 69, was spotted enjoying some quality time with Ava, 19, at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Tuesday, January 14.
The mother-daughter duo attended an exciting match between Daniil Medvedev and Kasidit Samrej. Furness wore a bright purple jacket and sunglasses, while Ava rested her head on her mother's shoulder while enjoying the game.
Furness and her daughter's outing comes over a year after she and Jackman, 56, announced their separation in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage. In their statement, the couple asked for privacy during this difficult time while focusing on their family.
"We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage," they wrote. "Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth." In addition to Ava, the duo also shares a 24-year-old son named Oscar.
Jackman, for his part, has since been photographed packing on the PDA with Foster, 49, after romance rumors swirled earlier this month post dinner date in Santa Monica on Monday, January 6 where they were spotted holding hands in photos obtained by People. The pair's public displays of affection continued shortly after, with photos shared by Daily Mail of them kissing in a car while in a drive-thru at In-N-Out.
The duo first crossed paths in 2021 while working together on the Broadway production of The Music Man. Jackman, who was starring in the lead role, and Foster, a seasoned Broadway star, quickly struck up a bond.
