Donald Trump's former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci claimed his wife Melania Trump 'hates' the former President of the United States.

The former POTUS and convicted criminal has been busy campaigning for the election being held today (November 5) after last being in the Oval Office between 2017 and 2021, with Melania by his side as the First Lady. It has recently been claimed that she is secretly supporting Kamala Harris and hopes she'll win the election.

In a recent interview on the MediasTouch podcast, Anthony, also known as 'the Mooch', insisted that Melania Trump could possibly be more enthusiastic about a Kamala win than he is. "Maybe Melania Trump. That could be the only person I think of. Because she hates (Trump). I judge the hatred of Donald Trump by the Melania standard," he told host Ben Meiselas.

"My wife hates Trump as much as Melania. I've met one person that actually hates Trump more than Melania," he said to discuss the level of hatred for the Apprentice star. It comes as Melanie discussed her pro-choice views, which are against the Republican party's general stance.

“It is imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government,” the Republican politician's wife wrote in her memoir, Melania.

“Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body? A woman’s fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes. Restricting a woman’s right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her control over her own body.

'I have carried this belief with me throughout my entire adult life.” At present, there are 12 states in the US where abortion is illegal with only limited exceptions should it prevent the woman's imminent death or risk their physical health, among other exceptions. States were allowed to decide their own abortion limits following the June 2022 overturning of Roe v Wade, a ruling that granted women the right to an abortion up to about 24 weeks, regardless of what state they lived in.

The overturning proved highly controversial as Supreme Court Justices, who uphold or withdraw rulings in the US, decided to overturn Roe v Wade. It was pointed to as being a factor that denied a so-called "Red Wave" during the 2022 Midterm Elections in the US where republicans ended up making minor gains instead of the predicted large political shift in their favour.
