WhatsApp often releases interesting features for its users to easily navigate the conversation with their friends, family, and loved ones. With new features, the company grows its reputation in the field of instant messaging platforms. Now the feature has been added to make things easy for users. The feature now allows you to schedule events for particular chats. Earlier users could only schedule events in group chat. However, the feature is in the development phase and not yet rolled out.

The website named WABetainfo, which is usually responsible for keeping an eye on the new and upcoming WhatsApp features has spotted the feature in its developmental phase. As per the report, the feature has been spotted in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.1.18 update available on the Google Play Store. The update brings the upcoming feature to the forefront giving an idea about the recent expansion of the upcoming feature. But you can discover a preview anytime soon.

The feature is still in its development phase and will only be available for beta users for testing. Shortly, the feature will be available for all the users on the stable version. Scheduling events in a single chat will ensure that the events are shared in a more organized and structured manner. This will enhance communication among community admins and users who connect on the same level.

Explaining more about the feature, the WABetainfo states that the users will have to give a mandatory name for the event. Additionally, you can also describe the event which is an optional pointer. You need to enter the date for the event along with specifying an end date and time for the event. This will give a clear idea to the participants in the event as to how long the event will go on and what will be the date and time.

Users can also attach the location, giving a clear picture to the participants as to where they have to reach for the event. The recipient can further accept or decline the event.
