For some, the colder months offer a much-needed respite from the relentless emphasis on the outdoors brought on by the rest of the year. In fact, many of us are actually winter thrivers, despite a cultural emphasis on summer.

Still, particularly brutal winters—and depending on where you live, you may have been experiencing one such winter as of late—can make even the most cold-addicted fan of the all-indoors, all-the-time lifestyle pine a bit for some mild heat (or at the very least, some time in the sun).

Enter a particularly timely X update from @chiefofwakanda, whose “What’s the first pic you recreating when it’s back hot outside?” inquiry has inspired a trove of responses ranging from the debaucherous to the downright diabolical.

Below, as should always be expected in the wake of a hit tweet, we’ve put together a sampling of these warm weather ambitions, purely for the hell of it.

And while there’s always plenty to look forward to in the warmer months, one could, rather easily mind you, argue that the true saving grace this time around is the impending arrival of a new Mission: Impossible. The latest entry in the Cruise canon arrives on May 23, a date which, technically speaking, is not part of summer. But given that it’ll no doubt already feel like it’s approximately 4,982 degrees outside by then, the distinction doesn’t seem to matter too much.
