The Galaxy S25 series is officially available to pre-order through Samsung’s website and other retailers. But where can you get the best deal on one of the best Android phones available? This guide will take you through a few notable deals.
Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra pre-orders
Year after year, the Galaxy S25 doesn’t dramatically change its look from the Galaxy S24 series. The only big change is the new camera array design, which simply adds more material around each lens assembly. Even that design change is grasping at straws — the Galaxy S lineup is largely similar except for the Ultra’s rounder corners.
What does change is what’s under the hood. The lowest amount of RAM available in the least expensive model will also be 12GB, up from 8GB in the Galaxy S24. Battery capacity remains the same on each device. The phones also take on a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, which positions them as good phones for AI. In fact, Samsung plans on releasing many AI features that will hit the Galaxy S25 series first, like Morning Brief and camera tools that rely heavily on AI. In fact, it’d be safe to bet that most of what Samsung rolls out in One UI 7 and later will be AI-focused, meaning a good SoC will come in handy if you plan on using those features.
Samsung also notes that the Galaxy S25 brings a better battery structure, even though the capacity has not been changed. The new battery offers more power for longer periods of time.
Starting today, Samsung is opening pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series. The pre-order phase is pretty short, but it offers some of the best deals on each phone. This year, Samsung is offering a $50 credit for those who pre-order through our links, on top of boosted trade-in values.
If you’re looking to order through other retailers like carriers, you’ll find similar deals, but nothing as good as what Samsung tends to offer if history suggests anything. Below are a few options for pre-ordering the Galaxy S25.
Where can I get the best deal?
The Galaxy S25 starts at $799, while the S25+ and S25 Ultra are $999 and $1299, respectively. This isn’t up at all from last year, which is good to see as that trend continues. Still, depending on where you buy any of the Galaxy S25 devices, some deals will be better than others during the pre-order phase.
Samsung
Year in and year out, Samsung generally offers the best deals if you pre-order directly from the website. This year, the amount you’re getting off immediately without a trade-in depends on which model you buy.
If you pre-order the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung is offering an instant $300 credit along with an instant free memory upgrade. For those that grab the S25+ and S25, they’re looking at $100 and $50 off, respectively with a similar free memory upgrade. Those deals are seemingly better than what we saw last year.
If you’re currently using a Galaxy device, we highly recommend trading that device in. Samsung is boosting trade-in credits by a bit this year, offering $900 instant trade-in credit for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is stackable with the immediate $300 off. That’s essentially a free phone if you trade in the right device.
Even the Galaxy S25+ gets a $700 trade-in max plus the instant $100, though that phone starts at $999.
Additionally, you’ll get an additional $50 off when you click on our links and order within 30 minutes.
Note: If you plan on trading in a device, please make sure to take photos and videos of the device during the process. This is to protect yourself during the trade-in procedure in the event the device is damaged in transit.
Best Buy
Best Buy has been another tried and true option for pre-ordering Galaxy devices, though the trade-in offers are not as good as what Samsung offers. Purchasing a Galaxy S25 Ultra will get you a $200 gift card from Best Buy. Buying a Galaxy S25+ will give you a $100 gift card, and an S25 will result in a $50 gift card. None of these options will get you a free storage upgrade to 512GB.
Amazon
Amazon is following the same rules as Best Buy, with a $200 gift card for Galaxy S25 Ultra buyers and smaller ones for those who purchase an S25 or S25+. The benefit here is that an Amazon gift card can be a lot more useful than one for just Samsung items. Amazon is not offering a storage upgrade, either.
Verizon
If you’re looking to buy the Galaxy S25 on a cell plan, Verizon is offering $1,000 off of the S25 Ultra and a free Galaxy S25 or S25+. Verizon is also adding Galaxy Watch 7 or Tab S9 FE for free with the new phone. These are good deals, but it does require locking into a contract, so make sure you know what you’re buying.
AT&T
AT&T is also offering similar deals to Verizon, offering a new Galaxy S25 Ultra with what looks like a new plan and a trade-in. The same goes for the S25 and S25+. Again, these are contracted devices and require either a new plan or an upgrade usually.
Using Rakuten to earn more
Perhaps the best thing you can do is utilize Rakuten’s 15% off in conjunction with Samsung’s offers. By signing up for Rakuten and heading to the Samsung store through its proprietary directory, you’ll be able to save an extra 15%, which comes out to around $200 if you were to buy the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
