Season 2 of 90 Day: The Last Resort was filmed at a resort in the Arizona desert.
The filming location is different from season 1, which took place at a beachside resort in Florida. While the debut season included a tropical beach setting, season 2 promises to feel more rustic. In fact, the promotional poster helped set the scene by including a cacti and desert mountains.

In addition to the new setting, season 2 also includes a completely new cast full of couples that have previously appeared on the TLC franchise.
This season’s cast includes couples Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre, Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina, Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda, Rob Warne and Sophie Sierra, Josh Weinberg and Natalie Mordovtseva, and Stacey Silva and Florian Sukaj.
What Is ’90 Day: The Last Resort’ Season 2 About?
Ahead of the debut season’s premiere, TLC explained that the show follows couples that have “reached their breaking points.” The couples make a last-ditch attempt to fix their problems as they participate in “a couples retreat to determine whether or not they can heal old wounds.” The reality stars would be forced to unpack their “issues with trust, sex, jealousy, anger, and intimacy” with the help of professionals.
Season 1 included “explosive group therapies, intense couples’ sessions, past life regressions and unique on-and-off-resort activities,” according to the network.
Throughout the first two seasons, fans get the opportunity to watch the couples attempt to work through their issues. By the end of their retreat, the stars will have to decide whether they want to recommit to their partners or leave the resort single.
What Happens During ’90 Day: The Last Resort’ Season 2?
The teaser clip for season 2 promised fans that there would be plenty of drama between the couples.
At one point, Stacey claimed that Florian had “completely broken [her] trust.” Meanwhile, Brandon expressed concerns that Julia was “never going to be happy.”
Additionally, the teaser also hinted Jasmine and Gino were facing major obstacles in their marriage. “If we don’t do something now, we’re gonna end up divorcing and hating each other,” Jasmine said in a confessional while discussing her relationship with Gino. He was later seen asking Jasmine if she would be willing to sleep in the same bed as him, and she broke down in tears as she insisted that she couldn’t.
Natalie also hinted at her and Josh’s issues by telling the other stars that she “deserved some answers.”
