Ne-Yo Opens Up About His Polyamorous Lifestyle
Ne-Yo has been trending non-stop with his girlfriends ever since he opened up about his decision to embrace polyamory.
In a November interview on ‘The Lemon Drop Show,‘ the R&B singer shared that he chose to be polyamorous because he felt like he wasn’t being true to himself for a while. He explained that monogamy just didn’t work for him, and now, he feels a weight lifted off his shoulders since he no longer has to lie or stay in relationships that don’t feel right.
“I realized I spent so much time lying and trying to be somebody I wasn’t for the sake of somebody else. It was complete and utter time wasted when I could’ve just been exactly who I am, said exactly what I want, exactly how I’m rocking, exactly how I’m not, and then waited for those people to gravitate to me because that’s my reality now. I don’t have to lie anymore, and I’ll be damned if I ever go back to that person that needed to lie for the appeasement of somebody else. I’m not that no more,” Ne-Yo explained.
