A group of organizers are putting together a benefit concert to support victims of the recent wildfires that devastated Los Angeles and large parts of southern California.

Fans can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster, and both general admission and premium seating options are expected to be available. There will be no pre-sale options, and the event's website notes that tickets purchased will only be good for one venue, not both.
How to Watch
For those unable to attend the event in person, FireAid will offer several viewing alternatives.
Livestreams will be available on platforms like Apple Music, YouTube, Spotify, SiriusXM and Twitch.
Select AMC Theatres across the country will also screen the event live.
Where The Money Will Go
Proceeds from FireAid will go to relief efforts and strategies to reduce the risk of future wildfires. According to the event's website, donations can be made here.
Large donors are encouraged to contact donations@fireaidla.org.
According to the event's website, "Contributions made to FireAid in connection with the FireAid benefit concert and other direct donations will be distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation and will be distributed for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California."
The Annenberg Foundation's website says it is "a family foundation that provides funding and support to nonprofit organizations in the United States and globally."
Legendary rock band The Eagles have already announced they will donate $2.5 million for the concert.
Newsweek reached out to The Annenberg Foundation by email on Friday, Jan. 17 requesting comment.
The Fires
The Los Angeles wildfires, which began on Jan. 7, devastated communities across Southern California.
Fanned by strong Santa Ana winds and fueled by prolonged drought conditions, the fires scorched thousands of acres, destroyed more than 12,000 homes and buildings, and forced tens of thousands of residents to evacuate.
At least 25 people have died, and many others remain missing.
As firefighters work to contain the flames, the blaze has also disrupted local infrastructure and prompted the cancellation of many high-profile events in the area.
