Claressa Shields is gearing up for a movie based on her life, The Fire Inside, which is set to be released on Christmas Day (Dec. 25). Early reactions for the film, which stars Ryan Destiny and Brian Tyree Henry, have been enormously positive with the movie currently sitting at a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.
However, the movie’s smooth rollout has come to a halt as Shields found herself wedged in between Papoose and Remy Ma’s marital problems.
On Wednesday night (Dec. 11), Remy exposed alleged text messages between her husband, Pap, and the celebrated boxer, showing an alleged ongoing relationship between the two.
Papoose then claimed that Remy had cheated on him, and that he requested a divorce “numerous times” from the rapper. The move led to Remy and Claressa going to digital blows, with each woman taking jabs at the other. At one point, the women threatened to fight each other in a series of posts.
While we know all about Papoose and Remy Ma’s relationship and its apparent downfall, who is Claressa Shields? Learn all about the woman below.
