JACK Remmington is a social media influencer who rocketed to fame on The X Factor.
He also is known for his hilarious TikTok videos and his insightful BBC podcast.
Rise to fame
Jack was born on October 12, 1994, in Lincolnshire, England.
He soon moved down south to study Geography at the prestigious University of Oxford, where he was a member of the acapella group Out of the Blue.
Most of his fans were introduced to the star though, when he became one half of the musical duo Jack & Joel.
Jack & Joel
The pair competed on the 2017 series of The X Factor but failed to the final.
However, their personalities won over the public and they each went onto become big stars.
Their YouTube channel, also named Jack & Joel, became extremely popular and quickly amassed over 30,000 followers as of December 2024.
In their videos, they would take fans behind the scenes of their rise to fame and even shared the story of how they met.
Jack and Joel were both members of Keeble College at Oxford and “clicked” because their personalities were so different.
They joked that they had “run out of other friends” which forced them to “get along really well”.
TikTok stardom
After disbanding Jack & Joel, Jack rocketed to fame on TikTok.
He is known for his hilarious antics, which include offering an olive to Kylie Minogue in reference to an online meme.
The meme was centred around a video of Coronation Street’s Gail Platt offering Kylie Platt an olive with a sinister tone.
He also films videos alongside Ash Holme and the pair have even filmed a travel show together.
Famously…In Love
Jack presents the podcast Famously…In Love for BBC Sounds alongside the star Sarel.
They dive into the shocking details of the relationship between some of the world’s biggest stars.
The podcast also analyzes how Hollywood relationships are seen by the public and, sometimes, even created by celebrities’ agents.
On his BBC podcast, the star opened up about his own coming out experience.
He criticised the idea of gay people needing to come out, since being straight is considered the norm.
Jack said: "I knew that my parents were accepting of me but I'd never said anything.
"So my dream situation was just like 'yeah, I'm not gonna come out.
"'I'll just, whenever i have a boyfriend, I'll just bring him home.'
"The issue was, i never got a boyfriend!
"So I had to take matters into my own hands!"
