YouTube star and musician KSI is joining the Britain's Got Talent judging panel this season, as a guest judge alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.
JJ, better known as KSI, is filling in for Bruno - as the former Strictly Come Dancing judge has scheduling conflicts with prior commitments.
The star is standing in for Bruno on three different audition dates and, with a massive 44.8million subscribers on YouTube and 12million followers on both TikTok and Instagram, producers are hoping he brings in a new audience to the hit ITV show.
But who is KSI, the social media sensation joining the BGT judging panel?
Who is KSI?
KSI - born Olajide 'JJ' Olatunji - is an internet personality, rapper and boxer from Watford. The star rose to fame on YouTube in the late 2000s making videos from his family bedroom where he uploaded gaming commentary videos.
He later formed YouTube group the Sidemen with six other YouTubers. The group commit to making weekly videos known as Sidemen Sundays and have a following of 22million and over 6.7billion views.
He has since ventured into music, and previously had a number one on the UK Album Charts in 2021 with his album, All Over The Place.
The star has also launched himself into the world of professional boxing, having fought Tommy Fury in 2023 for the main event on the 'Misfits Boxing' card - a boxing promotional company KSI launched in 2021.
KSI is also widely known for his business ventures - Prime Hydration, Sides, XIX Vodka, Sidemen Clothing, Best Breakfast and Lunchly.
Speaking to Capital about his time on BGT and joking about being the judging 'villain', KSI stated: "I've kicked Bruno out, and I'm taking his place! Actually, he's coming back, but I'm there for a little bit. Yeah, it's going to be fun, man. I'm going to judge some talent.
"Everyone thinks I'm going to be an evil judge, I'm going to be a villain – I'm going to just press the red button as soon as they walk out. I might do that every now and then, but I'm just going to have fun with it and we'll just see what happens."
