RUTH Jones is set to make her return as the iconic Vanessa Shanessa Jenkins, better known as Nessa, in the Gavin and Stacey finale on Christmas day.
But Ruth has been married to TV producer David Peet for years - here's what we know about their relationship.
Who is David Peet?
David is a writer, producer and executive producer, best known for co-creating the British comedy-drama Stella.
Stella starred Ruthas the titular character, as she tried to juggle the drama and demands of love and life, airing in 2012, originally on Sky 1.
In 2008, David Peet co-founded Tidy Productions with Ruth.
Together, the two produced the Ruth Jones’ Sunday Brunch which Ruth presented on BBC Radio Wales in 2008-2009.

The company also made two 90-minute dramas for S4C as well as light-entertainment shows for BBC Wales.
It was also Tidy Productions which made the 58 episodes of Stella. When the series came out in 2012, it was Ruth’s first major hit since Gavin & Stacey.
Alongside her husband, she executive produced the comedy series. Not only that, Jones starred in the title role and wrote several of the episodes.
David also worked on the Gavin and Stacey 2019 Christmas special.
When did Ruth Jones meet David Peet?
Ruth and David met when they both filming the pilot episode of a BBC comedy pilot.
But, David was in a relationship at the time, married with three children.

Ruth confessed in an interview that her husband wasn't single when they first met therefore there was an overlap between their dating and his splitting up with his wife.
The Gavin and Stacey star said: “Affairs cause a lot of pain, they’re not something one aspires to do.
“You don’t aspire to cause pain to people in their life.”
Ruth and David married in 1999, and she is the stepmother to his three children from his previous marriage: Fiona who is 35, Louise who is 33 and Alex who is 31.

Tomorrow on Christmas day, the final ever episode of Gavin and Stacye is set to air on BBC One.
The special will air from 9pm on the channel.
The last special in 2019 was the most-watched comedy in 17 years, attracting 18.49 million viewers.
Whilst very little is known about what will happen in this final episode, fans cannot wait to see it.
