'More Stars Than We Thought'

President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday, January 20, is set to feature a diverse lineup of musical performances, reflecting his eclectic tastes and aiming to promote unity. 

Although some were surprised, with one commenter quipping, "more stars than we thought," the soon-to-be 47th president's party is shaping up to be "possibly something worth tuning into," a moderate observed.

Here are all the performers confirmed to attend.

Billy Ray Cyrus

Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus is set to perform at the "MAGA Victory" rally on Sunday, January 19, the day before the inauguration, which is grouped in as part of the overall festivities. 
Best known for his 1992 hit "Achy Breaky Heart," Cyrus' participation adds to the lineup of country artists supporting the inaugural events. His performance is anticipated to "energize" attendees and celebrate the occasion. 

Carrie Underwood

Renowned country singer Carrie Underwood will perform "America the Beautiful" during the inauguration ceremony at the U.S. Capitol.
"I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event," she said, as she urged all Americans to "come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future."

Kid Rock

Rapper Kid Rock, a longtime supporter of Trump, is slated to perform at the "Victory Rally" on Sunday, January 19, at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. 
Known for his energetic performances and outspoken political views, the controversial star's participation reinforces his continued support for the President-elect.

Village People

The iconic 70s disco group Village People will also be part of the inaugural celebrations. 
Their 1978 hit "Y.M.C.A." became an unexpected anthem during Trump's campaign, often played at rallies and events. The group's frontman, Victor Willis, confirmed their participation, highlighting the "unifying power of music beyond political affiliations," a Trump supporter said on Facebook. 

Lee Greenwood

Country singer Lee Greenwood will perform his patriotic song "God Bless the USA" as Trump walks onto the inaugural platform. 

Christopher Macchio

Opera singer Christopher Macchio will perform the national anthem at the inauguration. Macchio, who has previously performed at events attended by Trump, brings a "classical touch" to the ceremony.
"It is with deep humility and gratitude that I have accepted @realDonaldTrump President Donald J. Trump's gracious invitation to perform our National Anthem at the Inauguration of our 47th President," he wrote.

Gavin DeGraw

Singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw is slated to perform at one of the three official inaugural balls on the evening of Monday, January 20. Known for hits like "I Don't Want to Be" and "Not Over You," DeGraw's soulful pop-rock style is expected to add a "contemporary flair" to the celebrations. 

Rascal Flatts and Jason Aldean

Country music trio Rascal Flatts will reunite for the first time since their disbandment in 2021 to perform at the former president's inaugural festivities. They are scheduled to perform at the Inaugural Ball on Monday, January 20, sharing the stage with other artists such as Jason Aldean. 
Frontman Gary LeVox stated, "We are honored to be part of such a historic event and look forward to sharing our music with everyone."
