Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia is holding back on disclosing “worse” stories about Zach Bryan’s alleged abuse because she does not want to ruin his reputation.
In Wednesday’s episode of her “BFFs” podcast, LaPaglia, 25, said she was hesitant to talk about an alleged incident between Bryan, 28, and her family during her birthday party.
She told co-hosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, “I wanted to cut the birthday party story because it was going to paint him in a bad light.”
However, Portnoy, 47, and Richards, 22, encouraged her to do so because they knew the story would resonate with other women who have encountered the “exact type of guy.”
The Barstool Sports founder explained, “I really thought it had to be in, and my point of view was ‘I know how awful Zach can be.'”
“That gave light to the exact type of guy Zach Bryan is,” Richards added.
LaPaglia explained that her “goal” in telling the stories was not to turn Bryan’s fans against him, but to “help other women.”
“That wasn’t my goal at any of this. If that was my goal, I’d be telling you everything … it has nothing to do with tearing him down. He’s never going to be happy ever,” she added.
“I knew it was an important story. It’s hard to recollect that myself and then share it,” she noted.
“People are forgetting that I was two weeks out of [our breakup], so recalling those things or understanding those things is really hard and still is. And that’s why I’m holding back on sharing certain things [because] to share it is hard.”
LaPaglia went on to say that if people still did not understand what type of relationship she was in or sympathize with her, they were simply “on the wrong side of things.”
Portnoy agreed and pointed out that if people wanted more proof of the type of man Bryan is then “they would still come up” with an excuse.

During the same podcast, LaPaglia slammed Bryan’s silence following her previous claims about his emotional abuse and trying to pay her off.
“The silence is defeating. I think his response proves his character again,” she said.
“I think it proves everything I said in the last episode. It’s a little frustrating. I knew that when I came forward with this, people weren’t going to believe me,” she added before saying that she was “taking the high road” by not completely trashing her ex.
“I obviously think he’s not responding because if he is to respond, he has to deny it … and then I post all the videos and the recordings.”
During last week’s episode of “BFFs,” LaPaglia described the alleged emotional abuse she suffered while in a relationship with Bryan.
She described an instance where he hurled insults at her friends and broke glass while celebrating her 25th birthday.
“He stood up at the fire and just started screaming at my friends, ‘You’re not going to be anything, you’re a f–king loser,’ like just the most horrible s–t. ‘You’re never going to make it,’ like, ‘you live off other people,’” she alleged.
After the “Something in the Orange” singer’s fit of rage, LaPaglia claimed she took him to their room, where he smashed glass.
“It was just awful,” she recalled before claiming there is video proof of that night that “can never be out.”
The podcaster also revealed that her phone was cracked from a time Bryan smashed it “off a wall.”
Bryan has yet to comment on the claims made by LaPaglia.
