Paige DeSorbo is returning for Season 9 of Summer House and we can’t wait. The teaser trailer released on December 18 featured several great Paige moments, including her screaming at Kyle Cooke (iconic) and locking someone in a coffin at a party (Scorpio Queen).

Paige has come into her own in the last few seasons of Summer House. She’s shed the newbie label and has solidified her spot as a fan favorite.

Here are all the reasons Paige is the best Summer House cast member.

Paige DeSorbo the comic relief on Summer House

Bethenny Frankel is often referred to as the “Queen of confessionals” but Paige is coming for her crown. The 32-year-old never fails to deliver a witty confessional whether she’s throwing shade at her Summer House frenemy Lindsay Hubbard or dissing Danielle Olivera’s outfit. Viewers can always count on Paige to deliver a shady one-liner during an argument or provide comic relief in a melodramatic Summer House episode.

The Bravo star spoke about her dry sense of humor during an appearance on the Chicks In the Office podcast in June 2024. She told hosts Francesca Mariano and Maria Ciuffo that she doesn’t mind when people don’t get her sense of humor.

“Sometimes when people don’t understand my joke…I actually like it better. I’m like, ‘Oh, good. Now I know you’re not my audience. You’re not even who I wanted to get [the joke].”

Paige’s humor helped build her fanbase and made her beloved to the fandom.

Paige always looks fabulous

Paige is known for her style. She always looks chic whether she’s chillin by the pool in the Hamptons or serving a look at BravoCon. She definitely has permanent residency on many young women’s Pinterest boards. Many Bravolebs are self-proclaimed “fashion icons” but she actually has the chops to back it up.

Paige worked as a fashion writer for the media company Betches during her first season of Summer House. The New York native has since transitioned from writer to podcast host but fashion still plays a major role in her life. She partnered with Amazon to create clothing collections and has joined TODAY hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager to assist with their fashion segment.

Paige is a good friend on Summer House

Paige is the ultimate friend on Summer House. She is a loyal confidante to Ciara Miller, Amanda Batula, and Hannah Berner, often putting herself in the line of defense whenever another cast member is trying something with one of her girls. She was a great friend to Amanda in Season 8, encouraging her to prioritize her own dreams instead of sidelining them to help Kyle achieve his. Paige had Amanda’s back when Kyle tried to dismiss her fashion ambitions, telling him to be a supportive husband. She was also a source of support for Ciara at the Season 8 reunion. Ciara was still processing her split from West Wilson and needed a friend by her side. Paige stepped in and had her friend’s back at every turn, reminding West that he was lucky to have Ciara that summer.

Paige is inspirational to women

Paige is a total boss and a good role model for young women. In 2020, she and Summer House alum Hannah Berner started a podcast called Giggly Squad where they chat about everything from pop culture to relationships. Unlike other Bravo podcasts, the two rarely discuss Summer House, which allowed them to create a fanbase that stands alone from reality TV. In the last four years, Giggly Squad has become a major success, often appearing in top 10 lists in the TV & Film and Comedy podcast genres.

Paige’s career trajectory is impressive and female viewers have taken note. On Summer House, we’ve seen her prioritize her goals and ambitions and ignore co-stars who told her she wasn’t making enough sacrifices for her relationship.

She spoke about her career goals in an August 2024 interview with People. She told the outlet she wants to enjoy her career success before starting a family.

“When I get married and have a baby, I want to be so in it,” she told the publication. “I want to fully take in this experience because I know it’s going to go so fast,” she says of everything she’s achieved. “I worked for it, and I’m excited for it.”
