Season 2 of Deal or No Deal Island is crushing it. The show has leveled up, from the players’ air-conditioned accommodations to the degree of difficulty of the challenges. And there is always another twist.

Host and Game Master Joe Manganiello welcomed the new crop of competitors to the Banker’s private island. Joe acts as the Banker’s intermediary at The Temple. Every night, one (or more) players compete against the Banker to add prize money to the final case. If a player makes a bad deal, they are eliminated. If they pull off a good deal, then they send someone else home.

This season, three reality stars entered the game along with a crop of regular folks. Australian Survivor winner David Genat, Big Brother star Dr. Will Kirby, and Survivor legend Parvati Shallow are competing. All of these reality TV vets have a shot of being the final player and playing against the Banker for all the prize money. However, Parvati has an extra edge that makes me think she has the best chance. Let’s look at why Parvati Shallow is the biggest threat on Deal or No Deal Island Season 2.

Parvati Shallow’s Survivor resume makes her a target on Deal or No Deal Island Season 2

She managed to keep her Survivor history a secret from most of the other guests. Naturally, she formed an alliance with David. Duh! They share an expert knowledge of Survivor and how to play in competition games.

Parvati competed in Survivor four times. She won Season 16, Survivor: Micronesia, and placed second during Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. She is famous for her strategic gameplay. However, it was during Season 16 that Parvati created the Black Widow Brigade. It was an all-female alliance that took out the male players one by one. This reputation as the Black Widow followed Parvati to Deal or No Deal Island.

Her cover was blown when Dr. Will “accidentally” revealed at a camp dinner that Parvati played Survivor. So uncool! While some guests were more wary of Parvati, no one had directly come for her. She just let it flow off her back and kept it moving. However, her tolerance level for Dr. Will started at zero, so she wanted him off that island. Meanwhile, no one knows that David played Survivor except for Parvati. She is willing to be out in front as a target while they play their game in the dark.

Plus, Parvati isn’t fazed by some of the gross challenges, like reaching your hand in a box of rats. And the insects and snakes? No big deal for this woman who has toughed it out with next to nothing.

Parvati seems to get along with everyone on the island. She is friendly, funny, and doesn’t seem to be in game mode constantly. Her calm demeanor hides the fact that she is always watching everyone.

The real-life mom and David became island mom and dad to contestant Dickson Wong. Dickson seems to be non-threatening, but he was stone-cold when he played the Banker. He shocked everyone by sending Storm Wilson home. This little “family” is becoming a target among the rest of the contestants.

Still, Parvati has teamed up with fitness instructor Phillip Solomon on one challenge, and he ended up pairing up with her and giving her immunity on a recent challenge. Even though he knows her reputation, and he keeps it in mind, they still have a bond.

Parvati’s gift is that she doesn’t seem like a threat. She is just charming and unassuming. Does she act flirty? Of course, she does. However, she is also at ease discussing her young daughter or leading a yoga class for her fellow contestants. While she certainly has enemies on Deal or No Deal Island that haven’t revealed themselves, don’t underestimate Parvati’s ability to disarm and charm.

Parvati Shallow has a killer strategy on Deal or No Deal Island Season 2

Parvati has a strategy that is perfect for Deal or No Deal Island. “You are going to see Parvati in a whole new light, using every element of every game that I’ve ever played and kind of combining them together,” Parvati stated. “So, I’ll be the Black Widow, I’ll be the flirt.” She continued, “I’ll be the loveable mom. I’ll be the treacherous mistress of murder.” Sounds like a plan!

During Season 2 of The Traitors, Parvati became a devious Traitor. And she gave us one of the best moments of the season. Parvati had to convince a Faithful to drink from her old, weird, rusty-looking goblet. It was a murder in plain sight, and the player died the next day from poison during their funeral. In fact, Parvati poisoned her buddy, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu of Love Island UK fame. She must have nerves of steel because so many people saw Ekin-Su drinking with Parvati.

While Parvati is a challenge beast, there are several other strong competitors, like Phillip, David, and Alexis Lete. It might make more sense to eliminate David before Parvati. After all, if she has no other choice, she will push David under the bus and wave as it drives away.

Parvati Shallow will be cut-throat on Deal or No Deal Island

When it serves her purpose, Parvati can be cut-throat. She already knows that her island son, Dickson, is ruthless. And David isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty when necessary. They are the perfect trio for this game. Well, Dickson is not in their league, but he is making some big moves. Meanwhile, his mom and dad are playing their game undercover.

It is no secret that Parvati cannot stand Dr. Will’s antics and would love to find a way to send him back home in his tux. So far, Parvati has subtly planted some ideas about who is a threat and who is best to eliminate. However, when the time comes and her back is against the wall, expect the Black Widow to bite.

Most of the newbies’ games are fueled by emotion and reacting to a given situation. Meanwhile, Parvati has the ability to remove herself from those feelings and could gently suggest ideas to help further her game. Parvati’s expert gameplay, ability to charm and manipulate, and experience make her the biggest threat on Deal or No Deal Island Season 2.
