The Guild of Music Supervisors Awards revealed its 2025 winners Sunday night (Feb. 23). The 15th annual ceremony was held at The Wiltern in L.A.’s Koreatown and honors the year’s best work in songs and scores for screen. Stephen Schwartz, the composer and lyricist behind Wicked and its stage musical, accepted the guild’s Icon Award, opting to perform his song “Beautiful City” from his musical Godspell during the award show. Music producer and supervisor Bonnie Greenberg was awarded the 2025 Legacy Award.

Wicked’s music supervisor Maggie Rodford earned the award for best music supervision in a major budget film, meanwhile A Complete Unknown’s Steven Gizicki grabbed the award for best music supervision in a mid-level budget film. EA Games’ Steve Schnur, a veteran of the Guild, took home two awards, the most of the night, for his wins in the video game categories.

In the documentary field, two music films took honors: Sam Carlin and Drew Kramer won for Lolla: The Story of Lollapalooza and Aminé Ramer for Yacht Rock: A Documentary.
