WWE Superstar Reveals Major Reason Behind Raw Absence

This past episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix saw WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio battling Kofi Kingston.

Naturally, Kingston had Xavier Woods in his corner while Mysterio was joined by fellow LWO members Cruz Del Toro and Joaquine Wilde.

However, there was a notable face missing from Mysterio's corner: Dragon Lee.

The luchador is incredibly popular, and often considered a successor to Mysterio. Naturally, his absence raised questions from the fanbase.

Fortunately, it looks like there was a good reason for him missing WWE's flagship show.

Recently, Lee took to Instagram Live to explain why he was absent from the red brand. And it's a very good reason.

"Hey everyone! Hope y'all are doing well," Lee said, per Steve Carrier of Ringside News. "I don't usually share my personal stuff, but I want to grab my phone and do it today because I am happy and anxious because in a few days I will hold in my hands my new princess that is on the way."

That's right, Lee missed the event in order to be there for his family when his daughter arrives, who he lovingly calls "his princess."

"She could (arrive) today, tomorrow, the day after, this weekend or even next week but she is coming, so I am very excited to receive my second princess, well actually third counting my first child and my wife."

"That's been the reason why I have not been at work recently, I have been helping my wife but you will see a stronger Dragon Lee and giving my best as I always do inside that ring soon. Sending hugs to everyone!"

Lee began his WWE career in NXT, where he soon entered into a feud with "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship. He would win the title from the younger Mysterio, but quickly dropped it to Oba Femi.

Lee soon found himself moved up to the main brands as a member of LWO alongside Rey Mysterio, Del Toro, Wilde, and Zelina Vega.
