X Factor star unrecognisable as she poses topless in thong bikini on the beach

AN X Factor star looked unrecognisable as she posed topless in just some thong bikibi bottoms on the beach.

The singer, 33, took to Instagram to share the cheeky snap from her recent holiday.

Diana Vickers looked completely different compared to when she found fame on The X Factor in 2008.

In the photo, Diana covered her top half with just her left hand as she threw her right into the air.

She was seen looking over her shoulder in dark sunglasses while standing on the beach in the leopard print garment.

During her time on The X Factor Diana was mentored by Cheryl Tweedy and made it all the way to the semi-final.

She also dated one of her fellow contestants - Northern Irish singer Eoghan Quigg, who just beat her to final.

Both contestants eventually lost out to Alexandra Burke who won the show as JLS became the runners up.

After the series came to an end, she went onto have a huge career, as she bagged the lead role in The Rise And Fall Of Little Voice in the West End.

Other stage show credits have included the comedy play The Duck House, and the Rocky Horror Show UK tour.

She later bagged the lead role in Son Of A Preacher Man in 2017, the production inspired by the Dusty Springfield song of the same name.

And earlier this year Diana teamed up with former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips for new musical I Wish You Well, a dramatisation of Gwyneth Paltrow's ski trial last year.

Diana plays the Hollywood actress in the stage show with Arlene, 80, choreographing.

It was highly-publicised at the time that Gwyneth won a lawsuit brought against her by a doctor who claimed she had caused him lifelong injuries following a ski crash.

The Sliding Doors star was awarded a symbolic $1 after eight days of testimony as part of a countersuit to an action brought by optometrist Terry Sanderson.
