Xiaomi Pad 7 to launch in India on this date

Chinese tech company Xiaomi has officially confirmed the exact launch date for Xiaomi Pad 7 for the India market. The company has also created a dedicated microsite for the upcoming tablet ahead of the launch. The device will succeed the Xiaomi Pad 6 that debuted in the country last year. The tab was introduced alongside the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro in China in October.

Xiaomi has officially revealed that the Xiaomi Pad 7 will be launching in India on January 10. The company has also listed the device on Amazon. The dedicated microsite confirms the availability of the product on the platform.

Xiaomi Pad 7 price and specification

The Xiaomi Pad 7 was launched in China in October at CNY 1,999 which translates to Rs 23,329 for 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option. There is another 8Gb RAM with 256GB storage option priced at CNY 2,299, approximately Rs 26,830. The 12Gb RAM with 256GB storage option is available at CNY 2,599 which comes to around Rs 26,830. In China, it is available in two colour options Sky Blue and Black.

In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Chinese variant comes with an 11.2-inch 3.2K LCD screen with 2,136×3,200 pixels of resolution. The displat has up to 144Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. Also it has 345ppi and up to 800 nits of peak brightness. The screen includes TUV Rheinland certification.

The tablet runs on HyperOS 2 and is powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage. Additionally the phone features a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The device also houses an 8,850mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, there is 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and a USB Type-C port. The tab includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor along with an acceleration sensor, ambient light sensor, colour temperature sensor, flicker sensor, geomagnetic sensor, hall sensor and gyroscope
