Looks like Xiaomi is all set to take over the tablet market. Recently, the brand dropped the Xiaomi Pad 7 in the Indian market. And now, a tipster has claimed that the company is also working on a tablet that will bring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
According to a post shared by tipster Kartikey Singh on X(formerly Twitter), Xiaomi is working on a tablet that will feature the Snapdragon flagship processor. He further mentioned in the post that the new Xiaomi Pad will be launched later this year.
Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship Pad details
Xiaomi launched the Pad 7 series in China first including two devices – Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro. And the Pro variant from the series consisted of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. And yes the tablet is more than powerful and can handle all the heavy games and software without breaking a sweat.
Now, the successor of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, possibly the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro, will be running on the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor which looks pretty understandable as well. Apart from that, nothing related to the upcoming Xiaomi Pad is available on the internet. Expectations are that we will get to know more once Xiaomi confirms something officially.
In parallel news, the Xiaomi Pad 7 has made a debut in the Indian market. The tablet is available in the market at a starting price of Rs 27,999. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor making it one of the most powerful tablets in the mid-range segment. It also houses an 8550mAh battery along with 45W fast charging support. As of now, there is no word regarding the launch of the Pro variant in the Indian market.
