Young Thug and Gunna may not be on the best terms right now. Thugger took to X/Twitter to seemingly sound off on his collaborator, sending a clear message to the Atlanta rapper. “Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet. I don’t know you, my guy,” the message read.
There has been no explanation regarding the post’s quick deletion since it disappeared from the web. Before his apparent post dedicated to Wunna, Thugga typed up several posts to X/Twitter pertaining to the YSL case. Both messages are relevant to Gunna, typing, “Real plea deal jack!” and “Wham let’s drop one on these rats, peter.” With an emphasis on “rats” (what many have labeled Gunna after he took an Alford plea deal in 2022), both of these posts remain untouched on Thug’s page.
The deleted post arrives on the heels of Brian Steel, Young Thug’s lawyer, making a request during his client’s final hearing. Steel explicitly asked the judge to allow Thugga the space and opportunity to work with Gunna on music.
Thug has been on a mission to fulfill his public service requirements since his release from behind bars. Steel brought the “Hot” rapper along for a speech at Emory University School Of Law via Facetime, where Thugga inspired the youth and spoke glowingly of his lawyer.
“Brian Steel is the best person possible. He should be a professor. You guys should become lawyers,” he told the classroom through the screen. “I think it’s very important to help people out of the situations they’re in the best you can. I mean, what side do you want to be on? You want to put people in prison for mistakes? Because everybody makes mistakes, they’re human… And everybody on this phone, in this classroom, you always need to know that you’re one mistake away.”
