A YouTuber who was killed in a heartbreaking car crash had asked her followers about death in the last video she uploaded.
22-year-old Ukrainian ASMR creator Mari Angel, real name Marina, was killed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver and passed away at the scene.
Her death was announced to followers on 10 September via an Instagram post from her sister, which read: "This post is written by Marina’s sister. 09/08/24 at 8 pm Marina got into a car accident, unfortunately she died on the spot.
"We will hold a farewell ceremony in Germany and a funeral in Ukraine (when and where is not yet known) For all information, write to me @ritapokalipsis or Marina’s mother @oksana_ageeva_nail_studio."

Marina's sister went on to add that she would like people to remember her sister as happy, adding: "I would like everyone to remember her as always smiling and happy as in these photos."
Images from the accident were later shared by Marina's mother on her Instagram account, alongside a statement which explained that her daughter's car had collided with a pole near a traffic light after being hit by the other driver. It's also understood that Marina's aunt was in the car alongside the YouTuber and was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
Fans would later highlight a heartbreaking moment from Marina's last video posted on 8 September which saw the content creator ask her followers a series of questions, including one asking her thoughts about what happens after death.
"What do you think happens after death?" Mari said to her followers in the video. Just hours after the video was uploaded to YouTube, she was killed in the accident.

Marina's followers were quick to point out the morbid coincidence between the clip and her subsequent death, as well as sharing their heartfelt condolences to her family.
"Rest in peace, Mari. I always admired your work ethic—you were one of the hardest-working people I've ever met. You were an amazing person and left this world too soon. May your soul rest in peace," one person wrote under the video, while other viewers added that Marina asking what people are 'most grateful' for in left them in tears.
Fans also paid their respects to Marina and her family under posts on her Instagram account. "Rest in peace Marina. I'll continue to watch your ASMR videos so that your legacy stays strong. Best wishes to her family," one follower commented, while a second added: "I am so so sorry. May she rest in peace."
