Zendaya and Tom Holland have been a couple for the better part of the last decade, and they found a way to be a part of each other's lives forever through small matching tattoos.
Holland and Zendaya, both 28, were inked at a Boston tattoo shop on Newbury Street on November 27. Lily Jarnrydn, the artist who gave the stars their ink, spoke to People in an interview published on Wednesday, January 8, where she said, "They were lovely to meet, and it was a lot of fun!" Jarnrydn also detailed the tattoos the couple requested, revealing that Holland got a small "z" on top of his ribcage while his fiancée got a small "t" just underneath her armpit.
On Monday, January 6, the outlet confirmed that the couple was engaged after TMZ originally reported the news that Holland proposed at one of Zendaya's family member's homes between Christmas and New Year's. A source close to the couple told People, "He's always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one," before adding, "They have something very special."
Fans took to the comment section of a Reddit post delivering the news of their matching tattoos to share their reactions.
"If anyone can survive getting a couple tattoo, it is them. I have faith," wrote one fan, while a second admitted, "This surprised me more than the engagement tbh." A third fan wrote, "I'm sure they did something extra corny like have them tattoo the 't' and the 'z' in each other's handwriting."
The duo started dating in 2017 while working on Spider-Man: Homecoming, but their relationship wasn't confirmed until 2021 after years of speculation and rumors. Though no wedding date has been set yet, fans can expect to see the couple together at work in Christopher Nolan's upcoming movie adaptation of The Odyssey, which is set to premiere on July 17, 2026.
